This is Amendment No. 1. The specifications in our invitation for bids on Program
860-S, scheduled for opening at 11:00 AM EST on April 30, 2026, are amended as
follows:
1. Change the bid opening date to May 4, 2026.
2. On page 13 of 28, change the "Color Mapping" clause to:
COLOR MAPPING SERVICES:
1. General Requirement: Contractor shall perform color mapping of all
Government-furnished Source Files. This requirement replaces processing
previously performed by NGA/FAA. Contractor shall convert all RGB images,
text, and graphic objects to CMYK, PANTONE spot color, and black-only
formulas in accordance with the NGA/FAA Color Mapping Guidance.
2. Automation and Workflow: Contractor shall utilize its automated workflow
tools to execute the color mapping process. Automation routines shall be
configured and maintained in accordance with NGA/FAA guidance.
3. Criticality of Application: Contractor acknowledges the operational
importance of the final printed products and shall exercise the highest
degree of care in performing all color mapping tasks.
Additional File Preparation Requirements:
Contractor shall perform the following tasks on all Source Files, as applicable:
1. Removal of all invisible or non-printing text objects for which fonts are not
embedded.
2. Extraction and assembly of cover components (front/back inside/outside
panels and spine) into a standalone cover file suitable for print reproduction.
3. Definition and setting of the correct trim box and extension of artwork to
ensure adequate print bleeds and eliminate unprinted edges.

Reporting Requirements:
With each delivery of Corrected Files, Contractor shall provide a written summary
identifying:
* All tasks performed under the section above; and
* Any manual interventions, adjustments, or modifications outside the
automated workflow.
This report shall support NGA/FAA quality assurance review.
Deliverables and Performance Schedule:
1. Government-Furnished Materials: NGA/FAA shall provide Source Files no
fewer than three (3) full calendar weeks prior to the designated activation
date for each production cycle.
2. Initial Processing: Contractor shall deliver Corrected Files within
twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of Source Files.
3. Government Review: NGA/FAA shall review Corrected Files within
twenty-four (24) hours and provide either:
Written Approval; or
o
Written Notice of Corrections.
o
4. Correction Cycle: Contractor shall implement all requested corrections. The
cycle shall repeat until NGA/FAA issues written Approval. Both parties shall
prioritize corrections to avoid production delays.
Quality Assurance and Responsibilities:
1. Contractor shall accurately apply all color mapping formulas and technical
guidance provided by NGA/FAA.
2. Contractor shall correct, at no additional cost to the Government, any errors
resulting from its failure to properly apply Government-provided guidance.

3. Contractor shall not be held liable for errors, omissions, or deficiencies
inherent in the Source Files or in NGA/FAA-provided guidance.
4. Final approval and acceptance of color accuracy for operational use remains
the sole responsibility of NGA/FAA.

Amended bid or acknowledgement must be submitted using the method(s)
specified in the solicitation for bid submission. Telephone or e-mail submission is
not acceptable.
BIDDER MUST ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT OF THIS AMENDMENT PRIOR TO BID
OPENING. Failure to acknowledge receipt of amendment, by amendment
number, prior to bid-opening time, may be reason for bid being declared
nonresponsive.
