The Department of Commerce is initiating this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit Proposals from those qualified and interested in implement a pilot project in Okanogan County to remediate soil contaminated with dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) and DDT remnants, such as dichlorodiphenyldichlorethlyene (DDE), which is formed when DDT breaks down. Eligible applicants are nonprofits (registered 501(c)3 organizations) and local governments.
