Disaster Recovery Services

The City of Alpharetta is requesting statements of qualifications (SOQ) from companies qualified and licensed to provide Disaster Recovery Services in the State of Georgia. For the purposes of this RFQ, Disaster Recovery Services are defined as services provided by a properly licensed and approved company to provide victim assistance to our City¿s citizens and businesses during and after times of disaster and to protect personal and real property to include securing property from additional damage, theft, vandalism, or trespass. After evaluating responses received to the RFQ, our City intends to develop a Call List of all companies that have demonstrated themselves to be qualified. In the event of a disaster event where disaster recovery assistance may be needed for our citizens and businesses, the City of Alpharetta¿s Fire Department will provide the Call List to the affected citizens or businesses who then may choose a company from the list, if they so desire. Call List development will not create a contractual relationship with the City of Alpharetta, nor will the City be responsible for work provided by Disaster Recovery Service companies. The Call List will be offered to citizens or businesses, but there will be no obligation on behalf of citizens or businesses to use a company on the Call List. No amount of work is guaranteed.
