The U.S Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) intends to solicit and negotiate a noncompetitive contract with AllFlex USA LLC (UEI: MDL9SCJ22HZ5) a large business, using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items under FAR part 13.5.
The objective of this acquisition is to obtain the following products supplied and installed by AllFlex: Four (4) Allflex (Brand Name) RFID tag reader systems for cattle at the USDA inspection chutes located at the U.S./Mexico Southern Border Port at San Jerónimo, Chihuahua, Mexico, and Eight (8) Allflex (Brand Name) RFID tag reader systems for cattle on the load-out chutes located at Santa Teresa, New Mexico, United States of America. The USDA contemplates a firm-fixed-price contract. See attached specifications and FAR 13.5 Single Source Justification.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a response which shall be considered by the agency. Responses must include clear and convincing evidence of the offeror's capability of fulfilling the requirements as specified. Responses must be submitted by email to Samantha Johnson at samantha.johnson3@usda.gov no later than January 22nd at 3pm PT. Telephonic Inquiries will not be honored. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
