Quonset Hut Restoration

Project Description: Sealed bids will be received electronically through PennBidTM by New Garden Township for Quonset Hut Restoration until 10:00 AM, prevailing time, on the 10th day of December 2024 at which time they will be opened and the bid results posted on PennBID. All documents including plans and specifications and solicitation details are available online anytime at no cost at PennBidTM (www.pennbid.bonfirehub.com). Click on the “Solicitations” and “View” tabs.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same.
This project involves wood façade repair, asphalt shingle installation, composite siding installation, painting, exterior door installation, and all appurtenant work.
There will be a pre-bid meeting held on site, 8938 Gap Newport Pike, Landenberg, Pa 19350, on Tuesday December 3, 2024 at 2:30pm.
Questions may be asked through the PennBID website. The question period will close on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 5:00pm.
This project is subject to prevailing wage rates in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
The successful bidder shall furnish a performance bond and a separate labor and materials bond both in the amount of 100% of the contract.
Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
The Owners reserve the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
