Road Mulching

The RM of Spalding is inviting tenders for 17 km of road reclamation along the Daphne Grid.

(Starting @ Highway 6 going east to Grid 640 – Sec 34, 36-37-18-W2; Sec 31-36-37-17-W2; Sec 31, 32-37-16-W2).

The project requires pulverizing the road surface—including rocks and stones—to a depth of 8 to 12 inches, followed by packing. Water application may be required as part of the process.

All tenders must be submitted using the official bid form. Bidders are required to provide proof of liability insurance with coverage of no less than $2,000,000, along with a current letter of good standing from the Workers Compensation Board. 10% Bid Bond is required.

Please note that the RM of Spalding reserves the right to reject any or all tenders, and the lowest tender will not necessarily be accepted. Additionally, the RM plans to self-tender this project, which may affect the awarding of the contract.
