1. This notice is posted IAW FAR 5.203 “Publicizing and response time.” The Government intends to release a solicitation on or after 15 days from the date this notice for the requirement below. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
2. This is a pre-solicitation notice for a design-build. The contractor (Ktr) shall provide all design, labor, materials, and supervision to demolish and replace existing suspended acoustical ceiling system to include insulation and HVAC supply system. As part of the base bid the Ktr will perform abatement of hazardous waste from animal waste in addition to professional pest control to close any openings both from the exterior of the building as well as between sections “A” and “B” of the building to prevent further infestation of racoons. The total square footage of ceiling tile and insulation replacement is 8,216.
3. The solicitation shall be publicized through the Government-wide point of entry on SAM.gov. Prospective offerors must be registered with SAM.gov.
