PROJECT: Residential Water Meter Replacement
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The City of Charleston is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of residential water meters and associated smartpoint technology. Bids will be received until 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. SCOPE OF WORK
The successful bidder shall provide the following:
Quantity: 575
Type: Sensus residential water meters
Size Range: 3/4" to 1"
Additional Equipment: Smartpoints (corresponding quantity)
Specifications: Available upon request to cityhall@aboutcharleston.com
BID REQUIREMENTS
All bids must include:
Complete pricing for all items
Delivery schedule
Warranty information
Technical specifications and compliance documentation
Proof of authorized dealer/distributor status for Sensus products
BID OPENING
Sealed bids will be publicly opened at Charleston City Hall on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. All interested parties may attend.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked "WATER METER REPLACEMENT PROJECT" and delivered to:

The City of Charleston reserves the right to reject any and all bids
Bids will be tabulated and presented to Charleston City Council for review at their regular meeting on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. All interested parties may attend.
