Description

The requirement is to provide a central point to monitor the residential alarm systems and when an activation or malfunction of the alarm occurs, immediate notification is passed to the Local Guard Force (LGF) contractor to respond to the alarm both telephonically and with the dispatch of the MP to provide a physical presence at the residence. These services will be provided to all residential properties either owned or leased by the USG (Embassy Mbabane). This contract provides life safety services to US Diplomats assigned and housed by the USG.

The estimated value for the entire period of performance is an estimated $ 46,100 USD (estimated amount due to contract being in the local currency, Emalangieni – and there will be eventual VAT reimbursement), including option years of service. These services require close coordination and immediate contact with the LGF contractor who then responds with the MP assets supplied through the LGF contract. This allows the RSO Office of to provide 24/7 monitoring of the residential alarms systems, therefore increasing the emergency response capabilities are provided to the assigned and housed US Diplomats and support staff.

This contract requires constant and close coordination with Post, the personnel that install the residential alarm systems, and more critically, with the LGF and MP contractor. This last communication factor is a key factor to the contract.
