REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
LEASE OF RESTAURANT SPACE AT LAWRENCE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
The City of Lawrence in conjunction with the Lawrence Municipal Airport Commission (the “LMAC”) a Municipal Airport Commission established in accordance with Mass. Gen. L. c. 90 sec. 51E, is soliciting proposals from interested, qualified parties to lease space within the new Airport Administration Building at 492 Sutton Street, North Andover, MA 01845, to establish and operate a restaurant. The leased space consists of approximately 2,325 square feet for a restaurant area, kitchen, utilities, storage, and includes approximately 1,000 sf of paved patio surface area known as potential shared outside seating area. The successful proposer shall be permitted to use the patio area in common with the public and use of the restroom facilities within the administration facility. There is shared parking for approximately 45 vehicles (2 handicapped spots) and shared handicapped-accessible restrooms. A ten-year lease will be issued, commencing within ninety (90) days after the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for the new Municipal Airport Administration Building.
This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Mass. Gen. L., 30B c 16(b) and MGL 90 51F all lease documents must be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of the Request for Proposals regarding Real Property Transactions.

All proposals must include a business plan, relevant experience, financial capacity, lease offer, and other required documentation as described in the full RFP.
The City of Lawrence reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive minor informalities, and to award the lease in the best interest of the City.
