INVITATION TO BID The Elbert County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed bids for a Class 8 Tandem Axle Dump Truck. Specifications can be obtained by clicking the link below. The County will receive bids until 4:00pm on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at which time the bids will be opened. Bids received after that date and time will not be considered. Bids must be sealed in an envelope and the words “A sealed bid” must appear on the outside of the envelope. Faxed or e-mailed bids cannot be accepted. Bids will be awarded on May 11, 2026 at 5:30pm.

All Bidders shall comply with the provisions of the Systematic Alien Verification of Entitlements (SAVE) program and the federal eVerify program.

The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids not in conformity with these instructions, and the County reserves the right to cancel the bid opening or the anticipated purchase.
