Project Description: The City of Peoria (City) is seeking an experienced design consultant to perform design and construction administration services for equipment and infrastructure improvements at the Agua Fria Booster Station (B302). The Agua Fria Booster Station is an in-line potable water booster station constructed in 2021 to deliver water to the City’s northern and western water distribution systems. The station is currently equipped with three 2,083 GPM booster pumps and has a firm pumping capacity of 6 MGD. There are also three pressure-reducing valves that can be utilized to reverse flow direction between the City’s separate water pressure zones (Zone 5W/5E to Zone 4E). The original design of the booster station considered potential future expansion and improvements to increase the pumping capacity as shown in Figure 3.
