Proposals will be received until 12 o’clock noon on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, by electronic bid only for two roofing projects at different locations -- City Hall Roof Restoration Project and Central Service and Maintenance Facility Code Upgrade of ANSI SPRI Edge Metal Project, in accordance with the plans and specifications now on file in the office of the Director of Public Service and Safety, City of Troy, Ohio.
The electronic bidding will be handled through the Bid Express service at
www.bidexpress.com
. Bidder must register, set up to bid, and review each solicitation the bidder intends to bid electronically prior to bidding.
The projects consists of:

Restoring the roofing system at the Troy City Hall building, 100 South Market Street, Troy, Ohio. It will be restored with a Polyurea partially reinforced liquid roofing system.

Code Upgrade of the ANSI SPRI Edge Metal (coping and metal edging replacement) of the roof of the Central Service and Maintenance Facility, 1400 Experiment Farm Road, Troy, Ohio.
A pre-bid roof review, with the owner’s representative, will be held on January 14, 2025, as follows:

9:00 AM at 100 South Market Street, Troy, Ohio, for the Troy City Hall roof restoration portion of the project.

10:00 AM at 1400 Experiment Farm Road, Troy, Ohio, for the Central Service and Maintenance Facility roof portion of the project.
All Contractors and Subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practical, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of these projects. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Miami County and the City of Troy, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations.
A bid guaranty as follows is required to accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted a contract will be entered into:

A bid bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid amount for the projects bid, payable to the City of Troy, Ohio, or
-
A certified check, a cashiers’ check, an Official Bank Check, or a letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount for the projects bid, payable to the City of Troy, Ohio
The City of Troy reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids when to the advantage of the City and to select the best bid in its opinion. The City also reserves the right to enter into a single contract for both projects or two separate contracts. The City of Troy, Ohio is in compliance with ADA.
