DBHDD Jail Restoration Center Food Services

Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated §§50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes ("eRFQ") is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide DBHDD Jail Restoration Center Food Services to the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (hereinafter, "the State Entity") as further described in this eRFQ.

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) provides treatment and support services to people with mental health challenges and substance use disorders and assists individuals who live with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Central State Hospital (CSH), located in Milledgeville, opened in 1842 as Georgia's first public psychiatric hospital. CSH services include psychiatric evaluation; treatment and recovery services for persons referred from various components of the state's criminal justice and corrections systems (Forensic Services); and staff-supervised residential homes in the community serving individuals with behavioral health disorders (Central Care Community Services).
