Request for General Contractor Prequalification Submittals ? HVAC Renovations ? Research Building I, Research Building III, Research Building IV

North Carolina State University is seeking qualification statements from general contractors for improvements to HVAC Renovations – Research Building I, Research Building III, Research Building IV, located in NC State’s Centennial Campus precinct. The project scope includes replacing air handling units and upgrading BAS controls.

To qualify, the contractor must have a general contractor’s license in the State of North Carolina as well as applicable bonding requirements. The contractor must show comparable work experience, both in complexity and dollar value, and preferably in a university campus environment, to the scope of work outlined above.

To be considered, the contractor must obtain an application package from the NC State University Project Manager and submit a fully completed qualification document by 5:00 pm, July 16, 2026, to David Hammock, project manager, by email only to DC_Formal_Prequal@ncsu.edu . No hard copies will be accepted. Application packages will be available electronically after June 17, 2026.
