Engineering Services for the Cross County Trail East, Section B

Project Description: Montgomery County, in partnership with DVRPC, will be advertising on PennDOT’s Engineering & Construction Management System (ECMS) to engage an engineering firm to provide Preliminary Engineering & Final Design services for the Cross County Trail - Section B, located in Upper Moreland Township, comprising approximately 1.7 miles of trail between Maryland Road (just west of Easton Road) and the Willow Grove YMCA (just west of Davisville Road).
This is for NOTIFICATION PURPOSES ONLY - All submissions will be through PennDOT's ECMS system.
This project is identified as L00888 (CCT East Section A)
Anticipated engineering services include, but are not limited to: project management, administration and meetings; field surveys; environmental studies (including historic and archaeological resources investigations, hazardous waste evaluations, wetland identification, delineation and mitigation, agricultural resources and Section 4(f) evaluations, PNDI and threatened and endangered species research); Categorical Exclusion Evaluation preparation; subsurface utility investigation; preliminary and final plans preparation (including roadway, maintenance and protection of traffic, signing and pavement marking, utility, drainage, right-of-way); preliminary and final geotechnical engineering report; hydraulics and hydrologic report; type, size and location submission; utility coordination; SUE; field view(s); Design Field View submission; pavement design; coordination for design exceptions, PA DEP and Army Corps of Engineering permitting; preliminary and final erosion and sedimentation control plan/NPDES permit preparation; and Quality Development Preparation.
