NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
The City of Woodward will receive bids at the Office of the City Clerk, or bids may be mailed to
722 Main Street, Woodward, Oklahoma 73801. Bids will be received in a sealed envelope clearly
marked “Street Overlay Bid” until 3:00 p.m. on the 13th day of July 2026. All bids will be
publicly opened and read aloud on June 12th at 3:01 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers of
City Hall, 722 Main Street, Woodward, Oklahoma, for furnishing labor and materials for Street
Overlay Paving Improvements:
Type “C” Asphaltic Concrete per ton laid
Tack Coat per gallon
Type “C” Asphaltic Concrete per ton laid (smaller areas, cemetery
& walking trails)
Tack Coat per gallon (smaller areas, cemetery & walking trails)
Price per day for milling machine
Term of Contract will have two options:
Option 1: Six months, beginning July 21, 2026, and ending December 31, 2026.
Option 2: One year, beginning July 21, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid shall be attached to all bids as a
guarantee that the successful bidder will, within ten (10) days from the date of notice of award,
enter into contract and file the required bonds.
The City of Woodward reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities
or technicalities without assigning any reason therefore, and to make the awards in the best
interest of the Owner.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the
opening thereof.
Bids are solicited and a contract award will be made pursuant to the Public Competitive
Bidding Act of 1974 as amended (Title 61, O.S. §§ 101-138 et seq.).
Bidders are responsible for all signage, cones, and traffic control.
