Pre-Advertisement Notice for Airfield Repairs

The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of Aviation, will shortly undergo a Multi-Step Sealed Bid process comprised of a prequalification phase as the initial step, followed by an Invitation for Bid
(IFB) towards the procurement of qualified contractors to provide construction services for airfield pavement repairs and related infrastructure improvements at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Interested vendors during the prequalification phase will be evaluated on their demonstrated experience performing construction within active airfield environments, including airfield pavement repair, safety compliance, and coordination within secure, operational airport settings. Evaluation will consider the contractor's technical capability, safety performance, and capacity to deliver services in accordance with FAA regulations and airport operational requirements. The City's expectation is that the selected contractor will deliver timely, compliant, and high-quality repair and maintenance services that support airfield safety, operational reliability, and continuity of airport operations.
