Plugging contractor will properly drain the containment dikes and restore the surrounding surface area. Containment dike site (#7761) located Section 13, Township 10N, Range 10E Hamilton County IL. The containment dike is leaking oil and salt water onto the land surface. If the containment dike continues to leak there is a great possibility of more contamination to the surface. By draining this overflowing containment dike, this action complies with the requirements of the Illinois Oil and Gas Act (225 ILCS 725/19.1) (62 Ill. Adm. Code 240.1630(a).
