Synopsis:
|
|
This Request for Bid (RFB) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS) to prospective Proponents to provide Submissions for the provision of the Supply and Delivery of One New or Used Compact Track Loader, as further described in the RFB Particulars (Appendix A).
The expected outcomes and benefits of this RFB are:
• Cost avoidance: equipment will save and reduce costly repairs on existing equipment;
• Service improvements: equipment will allow maintenance employees to perform various maintenance work within the park; and
• Economic/social: a well maintained park will ensure a positive visitor experience and result in return visitors strengthening the local economy.
The existing equipment at Duck Mountain Provincial Park has reached the end of life and requires costly repairs. The New or Used Compact Track Loader will be utilized for campsite leveling, fire pit installations, loading firewood and other maintenance work.
