The City of San Antonio (City), Public Works Department (PWD) is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeking Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms (Respondents) to provide PS&E and environmental support services for the Market Street Cycle Track (South Flores to IH 37). Through this solicitation, the City’s intents to select one firm for engineering design and construction administration services for this Project.
The contract duration is throughout the project completion. The Respondent understands and agrees that contract time for design will be negotiated prior to award, with the anticipation of an approximate 12-month design phase. The not-to-exceed contract value is $1,300,000.00.
The City of San Antonio is seeking a design team to produce the Plans, Specifications, & Estimates (PS&E) and construction administration services for the construction of a two-way separated bike facility (cycle track) from Flores Street to IH 37 on Market/Dolorosa, South Alamo, & Commerce Streets to include drainage modifications, traffic signals, pedestrian/bicycle safety lighting, streetscape improvements, signing and pavement markings. Other services to be provided under this contract include supplemental survey, public and stakeholder engagement, historic research, archaeological services, and construction phase services.
