The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The contractor shall deliver life cycle sustainment, program management, supply chain management, warehouseing and distribution, property accountability, procurement support, transportation management, and organizational and depot level maintenance. The contractor shall ensure integrated, enterprise-wide sustainment of Force Protection systems from CONUS depot operations through forward-deployed maintenance, achieving responsive, cost-effective, and reliable support to the warfighter.
1. The Air Force Air Combat Command (ACC) Acquisition Management and Integration Center (AMIC) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for AFCENT Integrated Force Protection Logistics, Maintenance and Sustainment Services. The Government is considering requesting contractor support to provide performance-based services at the following MPOs: ASAB, Kuwait; ADAB, UAE; AUAB, Qatar; PSAB, Saudi Arabia; and MSAB, Jordan.
2. The draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached for your review and consideration. The Government reserves the right to adjust the draft PWS and industry is notified that the draft PWS may change when the final solicitation is issued.
3. This Request for Information (RFI) is distributed to conduct market research and constitues only a request for sources. This is not an official Request for Proposal (RFP) and proposals are not being requested, nor will they be considered at this time. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Respondees are advised that the US Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense.
4. Interested prime contractors may submit a capability statement which demonstrates your ability to meet the tasks described in the PWS. The capability statement cannot exceed three (3) pages. We ask that you submit your responses, along with any qeustions or concerns related to this requirement, to the Contract Manager, Ms. Valarie Fleming at valarie.fleming.1@us.af.mil, and the Contracting Officer, MSgt Tyler Walker, at tyler.walker.4@us.af.mil. Questions must be submitted in writing.
