Project Description: Coventryville Road Stormwater Improvements Project - General (Contract No. SCT-26-01).
Work includes the installation of a storm sewer system along Coventryville Road and replacement of culvert across Coventryville Road for unnamed tributary stream south of Pigeon Creek.
South Coventry Township will be receiving sealed bids for the Coventryville Road Stormwater Improvements Project electronically via PennBid. Sealed bids will be received on or before 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. Copies of the Bidding Documents (Project Manuals, Contract Documents, and Contract Drawings) will be available at no cost through PennBid on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held at the site, Coventryville Road at Pigeon Creek, South Coventry Township, PA, on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Bids will not be accepted from any bidder who does not attend or remain for the duration of the mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit. Bidders will be required to sign in to document their attendance.
All questions should be submitted electronically on PennBid before 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Telephone inquires and paper submissions will not be accepted.
The bid must include all costs incidental to the work of the Project.
Products shall be prequalified as "equals" for use on this project as is described by the Information to Bidders. Bidder shall meet the standards set forth in the Instructions to Bidders.
Bids may not be modified, withdrawn, or canceled within a period of 60 days following the date for receipt of bids without the prior written consent of South Coventry Township.
South Coventry Township reserves the right to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors, or omissions in any or all bids and to reject any or all bids.
Notwithstanding any other provision of the Bidding Documents, South Coventry Township will have complete discretion to award a Contract (or not to award a Contract) to any bidder based on any criteria South Coventry Township deems relevant.
