Summary

The Tucson Unified School District (District) intends to establish a long-term contract with a qualified firm to provide beverage and snack vending services to the Tucson Unified School District (District) schools and sites. The District reserves the right to add a variety of products and, if added, the products supplied shall adhere to the District Nutrition Standards to include the nutritional standards and requirements of the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program and the Arizona Nutrition Standards.

Background

The District is the third largest district in the State of Arizona with a student population of approximately 41,000. The District covers approximately 230 square miles. The District is comprised of: 13 high schools, 11 middle schools, and 62 elementary schools and may include new or reopened schools, such as Innovation Tech HS and Wakefield Middle School.
