New Fire Alarm System Installation in two houses in Orange County

The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) Contract Management Unit, Design and Construction, on behalf of the Hudson Valley DDSOO, is soliciting sealed bids from responsible and qualified contractors to perform required work for Installation of New Fire Alarm Systems at 533-535 Silver Lake Scotchtown Rd, Middletown, NY 10941 and 26 Grange Rd, Otisville, NY 10963.

The Project Manual and Drawings for the project may be obtained via the Documents tab for this project advertisement. Bids for this project must be received prior to the time of the Bid Opening, as detailed in the Project Manual full Advertisement for Bids.

Contractors who are interested in submitting a Bid for this project should carefully examine and be familiar with the Drawings and Specifications, and the Project Manual including all Bidding, Contracting, and General Requirement Specification Documents.

Site Visit: Bidders are strongly urged to attend a Site Visit at each location to take field measurements and examine existing conditions of the project area. Site Visits will be held at 9:00 AM at Grange IRA and 10:00 AM at Silverlake SOIRA on both Wednesday, September 11, 2024, and Thursday, September 12, 2024. It is the responsibility of the bidder to know the site(s) requirements based upon the work being requested.

Bid Security deposit will be required in the amount specified in the full Advertisement for Bids.

The Selected Low Bidder will be responsible for providing documentation of mandatory pre-award submittal requirements, including but not limited to: Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire (CCA-2), references and experience, list of proposed sub-contractors, detailed estimate, and proof of required insurances.

Prevailing Wages will apply.
