The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a sole source solicitation numbered N00024-26-R-6107 for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to procure up to seventeen (17) Large Vertical Array (LVA) shipsets; up to 43,000 engineering and technical support hours, other direct costs, and Provisioned Item Orders.
The period of performance for this effort is potentially eight (8) years, with one (1) base year and seven (7) option year ordering periods, from FY27 through FY34.
This requirement will be solicited sole sourced to General Dynamics – Electric Boat Corp. (GD-EB) in Groton, CT, pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. GD-EB is the only source capable of providing the required capability for LVA, including all required supplies and support necessary for production of the current system, to the baseline shipboard LVA interfaces, sensors, interchangeability, to meet the necessary schedule of upcoming submarine availabilities.
This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. However, interested parties may submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to fulfill the requirement. All expressions of interest received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. The Government will not reimburse any costs incurred to submit a response to this synopsis; any costs associated with responding to this synopsis are solely at the expense of the source submitting the information. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
