NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Kingsburg, 1401

Draper Street, Kingsburg, CA 93631 until 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at which time

they will be publicly opened and read at said office, for construction in accordance with the

specifications therefore, to which special reference is made as follows:

MEHLERT/WARKENTINE & 20TH/21ST ALLEY IMPROVEMENTS

CML 5170(066) & CML 5170(067)

The work to be done consists, in general, of alley paving with hot mix asphalt, valley gutter with

concrete, earthwork and grading, concrete improvements, reconstruction of alley approaches, and

utility adjustments.

Plans and specifications applying to this project may be reviewed and purchased at: Peters

Engineering Group, 862 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612 at the non-refundable price of

$40.00 per set. Checks shall be made payable to the City of Kingsburg. Plans and specifications may

also be viewed on the website of the Central California Builders Exchange and the Tulare / Kings

County Builders Exchange or downloaded from the City’s website. Bidders are responsible for

monitoring the City’s website for any project addendums and submitting the acknowledged

addendums with the bid documents. Any bid proposal submitted without all addendums

acknowledged will be deemed non-responsive.

Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the City of Kingsburg and labeled with the

name of the bidder, the name of the project and the statement "Do Not Open Until the Time of Bid

Opening."
