Description

USAID intends to issue a solicitation for a Personal Services Contract (PSC) for the position of Collective Action Advisor, GS-14, for USAID’s Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DRG) Bureau.

The Collective Action Advisor will provide support to the Washington-based Office of Civil Society, Labor, and Media in the DRG Bureau, other DRG Bureau offices, USAID Missions, and the Agency to advance thinking and approaches regarding collective action and social movements development as they relate to civil society, media, and democratic systems. The Collective Action Advisor will support the civil society team to integrate their respective issues with broader USAID development objectives to elevate issues within the Agency and enhance the impact of USAID programming across sectors. The Collective Action will also advance the DRG Bureau’s learning efforts to address gaps in knowledge, identify issues and trends, and collect best practices relevant to programming.

The duration of the contract period is anticipated to be one two (2) year base period with three optional one (1) year periods for a maximum duration of five (5) years.
