Summary

The County has issued this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) with the sole purpose and intent of obtaining Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from interested and qualified engineering firms (Proposers) licensed to practice in the State of Florida to provide engineering design plans for a new two-lane roadway with a shared use path and preliminary engineering for a new bridge structure over the intercoastal waterway from the powerline easement (located north of US Hwy 98) to the Bay County line for the West Bay Parkway Engineering Design Services project (Project). The proposed roadway at its southernmost connection will adjoin to the existing portion of West Bay Parkway, designed and constructed by the St Joe Company, and extend north across the intercoastal waterway to the Walton County/Bay County line. The proposed scope of work will include survey, geotechnical, roadway design, preliminary bridge design, stormwater design, and identification of necessary right-of-way requirements for the new two-lane roadway and bridge alignment. Proposers shall be certified by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), and documentation shall be included with each Proposer's submittal. The Project is funded by the FDOT Transportation Regional Incentive Program (TRIP), FPN 453941-4-34-01, Contract G3210.
