Scope of Services
New Smyrna Beach Utilities is seeking a quote from a Licensed Insured Roofing Contractor to perform our Annual Preventative Maintenance & Inspection Services for each our 26 New Smyrna Beach Sites. The list of sites is in the bid package.
The Annual PMI is required to claim the manufacturer warranties, to identify roof deficiencies that requires minor repairs before becoming large no reparable damages and to extend life expectancy of the roof.
The Inspections services cost must include:
• Gutter system inspection
• Debris removal
• Sealant/caulking of simple and small penetrations
• Annual roof report with photos of all roof system items inspected
• Report of deficiencies found with photos and proposals for needed repairs
The Continuing Roof Maintenance Services must provide:
• Dedicated Service Department that can respond on a daily basis to leak inspections and repairs
• 24-hour leak inspections response commitment:
regular hourly Labor
emergencies/after-hours labor
• 36-hour disaster response commitment
• Provide Warranty period for services/repairs
Must provide at least three (3) references of commercial roof jobs performed in the State of Florida.
Preference for local vendors, or with local branch in Volusia County or no further than 40 miles radius from our main site at 200 Canal St. to ensure timely responses
**Mandatory Site Visit is scheduled for Friday, March 27, 2026 at 9 A.M.
