KDFWR administers an Ohio River Basin Contract Fishing Program to help control the upstream expansion of Invasive Carp. Program participants will be paid a daily contractual rate to harvest Invasive Carp. The pools accessed for contract removal on this program are within the Ohio River and its tributaries. Fishing locations will be cleared with the KDFWR point of contact (POC) and permission to fish restricted waters will be at the discretion of the project authority.
To expedite the contract process, a short-form application and check list document is provided as Attachment D. Bidders should use this form to submit their application. This application provides a detailed description of requirements and operations. |
