he project area is the part of the Raymark Superfund Site on a 2 acre (approximate) privately owned parcel off of Lockwood Avenue in Stratford, CT. Work for this project will likely include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Installation of approximately 515 LF of new 20-foot-deep steel sheet pile bulkhead with a timber cap.


• Regrading and installation of rip rap on the water side of the bulkhead.


• Installation of filter stone material, and geotextile on the upland portion of the bulkhead for drainage.


• Mobilization of equipment for construction from the land side of the bulkhead.


• Loam and seed disturbed areas.


• There is no excavation of soils expected for this work.


• The work zone is free of surface contamination, however contaminated soils are to be assumed 4’ below ground surface; plans and protections should be in place to not expose or bring those materials to the surface.
