NORGLENWOLD AND JARVIS BAY LPS METER CHAMBER REHABILITATION PROJECT

Two of its member municipalities are connected to the Regional System via another member municipality. The Summer of Village of Norglenwold and Summer Village of Jarvis Bay deliver wastewater through separate lines connected to the Town of Sylvan Lake’s wastewater collection system. At the point of connection is a meter chamber and flow meter. The project will look to replace or rehabilitate these meter locations.

The project is composed of two parts. The first part is to rehabilitate the concrete meter chamber and electrical and replace the meter at the Summer Village of Norglenwold LPS Metering Chamber (Part 1). The second part is to demolish the existing and to construct a new metering chamber and connection along with the installation of new power and electrical and meter at the Summer Village of Jarvis Bay LPS Metering Chamber (Part 2). Part 2 is being list as provisional and is conditional on pricing and scheduling received in this request for proposal. Part 2 may be deleted from at time of award.

The Successful Proponent must obtain and pay for all permits and licenses, and provide any proofs, required by the Province, Town of Sylvan Lake, or any other authority to enable a Proponent to do all things necessary to perform the work.
The permits, licensing and other proofs required for this project include but are not limited to:
•        Town of Sylvan Lake Business License
•        Proof of WCB clearance
•        Proof of insurance
•        COR Certification

An electronic copy of the Proposal must be submitted in PDF format by email to the Commission’s Contact identified on the cover page of this RFP. Zip files are unacceptable and will be rejected by the Commission’s firewall. Email Submissions must not exceed 150MB, or they will be rejected by the Commission’s mail server. Email Submissions are deemed received at the time they are received by the Commission mail server. Proponents submitting electronically are responsible for getting confirmation that the Proposal has been received at the email address provided for the Contact on the front cover of this RFP.

Questions that arise must be submitted before the last date for questions noted in Section 2.6 – Project Timetable and must be directed in writing to the Commission’s representative identified on the cover page. Inquiries and answers will be recorded and may be distributed to all Proponents at the Commission’s option.
