Pierce County, through the Information Technology Department, in partnership with the Sheriff’s Office, is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive, integrated software solution for the administration of pet licensing and animal control operations.
The County seeks a secure, scalable, cloud-based system that supports multi-jurisdictional licensing, enforcement workflows, dispatch operations, billing, reporting, GIS integration, and public-facing services. The selected vendor will work collaboratively with Pierce County Information Technology and the Sheriff’s Office to ensure successful implementation and long-term operational support.
Pierce County administers pet licensing and animal control services throughout the county's jurisdiction. Animal Control operations are currently managed under the Sheriff’s Office. The County requires a modernized system to improve operational efficiency, enhance reporting capabilities, ensure regulatory compliance, streamline customer service, and support field enforcement activities.
