Summary

DCY issues this RFP to secure a qualified Contractor to provide comprehensive support for the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program (OCWTP). Through this RFP, DCY seeks to identify a Contractor with demonstrated expertise to design, deliver, and enhance statewide training programs that strengthen Ohio’s child welfare workforce and ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and policy requirements.

OCWTP provides competency-based training for caseworkers, supervisors, assessors, caregivers, and adoptive parents and collaborates with Regional Training Centers (RTCs) to ensure consistent, statewide training. In the most recent fiscal year, OCWTP delivered more than 3,700 training sessions through classroom, virtual, and coaching formats. OCWTP operates pursuant to ORC §5103.30–5103.42 and the applicable provisions of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC).
