ADDENDUM NO. 2
Bidders are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made a part of the above-named proposal and contract documents.
The following is issued to modify, and/or clarify the bid and contract documents. These items shall have the same force and
effect as the original bid and contract documents, and bids to be submitted on the specified bid date, shall conform with the
additions, deletions and revisions listed as herein.
ITEM #1
QUESTIONS/ANSWERS:
Q1: How will the CY be measured for bid item #1? For example, will the material be measured in situ prior to
removal or once disposed in the drying pit?
A1: Accumulated grit and sludge will be measured prior to removal from basin.
Q2: Will all the tanks be drained in tandem (one after the other) so we can mobilize once?
A2: Addendum #1, Item #5 states ‘A minimum of four (4) full days shall be allowed between returning
a basin to service and taking the next basin offline to provide adequate time for process stabilization
and operational evaluation’.
Q3: What is the expected water content of the material after being drained but before removal?
A3: Unknown.
Q4: Are there any limitations or requirements regarding the use of additional water in the removal of the
material?
A4: No.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260583.
Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
