APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The work will include the following: repair and/or replacement of some mechanical, plumbing (including under-slab), electrical and fire notification and detection systems; demolition of some load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls, concrete flooring, ceilings; and construction of structural lintels, non-load-bearing walls, doors, frames, interior glazing “lites”, ceilings, lighting, power and all related finishes. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials to perform all work in strict accordance with the plans and specification. This acquisition will require a general contractor with experience and expertise capable of managing numerous contract at the same time, which will require construction scheduling, cost estimating, quality control, and coordination of subcontractors in a wide variety of construction trades.
