Project 24-17.9A – 69kV The Site Substation – Control Building and
Relay Panels
Electronic, emailed and paper bids for the 69kV The Site Substation – Control Building
and Relay Panels project #24-17.9A for the City of Piqua, Ohio, will be received until
1:00pm on Monday, October 12, 2026, at which time they will be opened and the results
read aloud and posted on the Bid Express system.
In general, the proposed work consists of furnishing major equipment for the Piqua
69kV The Site Substation Project – Control Building and Relay Panels for the City of
Piqua, Ohio.
Bids may be submitted via the following methods only:
1. Electronically via Bid Express
2. Electronically via email, with the subject line stating DUE DATE and TIME, the
BID PACKAGE, and “DO NOT OPEN”
3. Hard copy, delivered in a sealed envelope marked as shown above.

Electronic bids can be submitted through Bid Express. Plans are available through the Bid
Express at: www.bidexpress.com; Phone: 1-888-352-2439. Free registration with Bid
Express will allow bidders to review and print all project plans. An electronic signature is
required along with a per-bid fee, or a monthly subscription fee for the Bidder to submit an
electronic bid.
Bid submitted in any manner other than those described above will not be accepted.

www.bidexpress.com for Bidders’ reference.
No Bidder shall withdraw their Bid after the actual opening thereof.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive irregularities in any Bid, and to
accept any Bid that is deemed by the City to be most favorable to the City.
