Open Top Ejector Trailer bid packets may be obtained Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. beginning on Monday, August 25, 2025, at the Department of Public Works, 500 Route 130, Sandwich, MA 02563-2342 or by registering at

Bids may be withdrawn in writing prior to the bid-opening deadline. The Bid may be withdrawn after it has been opened only if a mistake is clearly evident on the face of the document, but the intended correct answer is not evident.

in the lower left corner will be received at the Department of Public Works, 500 Route 130, Sandwich, MA 02563 on or before Monday, September 8, 2025, until 4.00 p.m., at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read.
The Town of Sandwich reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities. The bids will be evaluated on the responsiveness and responsibility of the bidder who submits the lowest price. If an award is made, it will be within thirty (30) days after the receipt of sealed bids.
If, at the time of the scheduled bid opening, the Department of Public Works is closed due to inclement weather, or other unforeseeable event, the bid opening will be postponed until 10:00 a.m. the next normal business day. Bids will be accepted up until that date and time.
