Project Description: This project involves improving the existing Borough-Owned “Quarry” property at the intersection of North Race Street and East Factory Street. Improvements include, but are not limited to, the demolition of the existing site fencing, and curb foundation, the removal of ~65-cubic yards of sediment, the reconstruction of an existing riprap apron, the installation of ~65-cubic yards of riprap bank stabilization, ~1,500-square feet of erosion control matting, ~875-linear feet of new chain link fencing, a 30-foot-by-15-foot observation deck, and a sediment forebay.
