Solicitation Summary
Towson University (TU) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to procure the services, of a qualified, contractor to perform
chemical treatment to the central power plant and condensate systems
specified in this IFB, from a Contractor between the successful bidder(s) and TU. The Contractor, shall p
rovide Towson University with a full-service contract to furnish all equipment, chemicals and services required to provide an effective and efficient chemical treatment program to the Central Power Plant Boilers and Condensate System, and the Outlying Boilers, Cooling Towers and Closed Water Systems. The work includes running control tests, adding chemicals, ensuring proper controller and pump function and maintaining records of water chemistry and chemical usage.
