The Department of General Services (DGS) on behalf of Capitol Police Department (CPD) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) in order to procure the required Barricade equipment for the Capitol Police Department (CPD).
Equipment must be to exact specifications. Equipment to be purchased includes, but not limited to: One-person deployment system in under 10 minutes Allow pedestrian and ADA access Archer Guard system w/ all required components One gate that connects to barriers and has expandable options and permits emergency vehicle access without compromising security Lifetime Warranty .50 caliber ballistic rating Able to stop a vehicle traveling at 30 mph within 20 feet Maintenance free non-electric and non-hydraulic Suppliers opting to bid must be registered within the Commonwealth's Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system.
