Nicholson Road Watermain Lining

The City of Estevan is undertaking the rehabilitation of approximately 850-1,000 metres of 8-inch cast iron watermain along Nicholson Road using a trenchless lining method. The project includes cleaning and inspection of the existing watermain, installation of a structural liner suitable for potable water, robotic reinstatement of all service connections, and replacement of associated fittings including valves and tees. Additional work involves temporary water servicing, traffic control, excavation at select locations, and full system testing and disinfection. The intent of this project is to extend the service life of the existing infrastructure, improve reliability, and minimize surface disruption while maintaining service to residents and businesses throughout construction.
