Waste Water Treatment Plant Influent Upgrade

The Haines Borough is requesting proposals for upgrading the Waste Water Treatment Plant influent system.

The work includes:

•    Install new re-routed influent line (15” PVC) and two concrete manholes.
•    Install new RV/commercial pump truck dump station
o    Route new ¾” non-potable cold water line from treatment building to dump station for wash down.
o    Route new ¾” potable cold water line from control building to dump station for RV fill-up operations.
o    Connect new 4” waste pipe and 8” waste pipe to new manhole.
•    Install a new exterior wetwell and adjacent vault.
o    Install two contractor provided and one owner provided pumps to wetwell.
o    Install new valves and plumbing.
o    Fill in existing wetwell under Control Room.
o    Route electrical to new lift station and vault.
o    Route 6” drain pipe from generator/shop building to new wetwell.
o    Route new 10” pumped influent pipe from new vault to tie-in points.
•    Install influent screen bypass piping.

The opening of the proposals will take place on Zoom in a public meeting.  Evaluations of proposals will not take place on this Zoom meeting.
