New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is seeking a consultant to provide Consulting Engineer and Related Services for Broadway Junction Streetscape Improvements Projects. The project will consist of two streetscapes; (1) Van Sinderen Avenue between Atlantic Avenue and Fulton Street, and (2) Broadway between Jamaica Avenue and Truxton Street. This streetscape design will be advanced by the consultant to a schematic level (30 percent design), and will be issued as part of a public design-build procurement, for which the consultant will also provide resident engineer services.
NYCEDC plans to select a consultant on the basis of factors stated in the RFP which include, but are not limited to: the quality of the proposal, experience of key staff identified in the proposal, experience and quality of any subcontractors proposed, demonstrated successful experience in performing services similar to those encompassed in the RFP, and the consultant’s ability to meet disadvantaged business enterprise participation goals pursuant to federal requirements.

Respondents may submit questions and/or request clarifications from NYCEDC no later than 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 12, 2024. Questions regarding the subject matter of this RFP should be directed to BWJStreetscapeCE@edc.nyc . Answers to all questions will be posted here by Friday, December 20, 2024. Questions regarding the subject matter of this RFP will not be accepted after 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 12, 2024, however, technical questions pertaining to downloading and submitting proposals to this RFP may be directed to RFPREQUEST@edc.nyc on or before Thursday, January 9, 2025.

An optional informational session will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 11:00A.M. at One Liberty Plaza (OLP), 14th Floor, New York, NY (please allow additional 15 minutes for security at OLP) and virtually via Microsoft Teams.
