Requirement:



The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer (USACE), Philadelphia District (NAP), anticipates a requirement for Maintenance Dredging of the Maurice River, NJ. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.



This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. This Notice is being issued for planning and information purposes only. This notice is not a Solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept proposals as a result of this notice.



** Solicitation W912BU25BA005 is expected to be released on or about 11 June 2025.



PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contract work will consist of Maintenance Dredging of the Maurice River federal channel from Station 0+500 to 10+000: (a) Dredging will be required to clear shoaling of approximately 50,000 cubic yards and to maintain safe navigable depths to 8 ft MLLW plus 1-ft overdepth; (b) placement involving beneficial use and marsh restoration alternatives will be utilized on two 9-acre plots in the Heislerville State Wildlife Management Area. Dredging will be by hydraulic pipeline dredge. Containment measures may include turbidity curtains, coir logs and/or hay bales at the two placement sites. Dredging and placement is prohibited from 1 March to 15 September due to environmental restrictions. The period of performance is 240 calendar days from NTP but dredging and placement must not occur during restricted period.



DISCLOSURE OF MAGNITUDE OF THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.



NAICS CODE AND SBA SIZE STANDARD: 237990 – Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction; $45,000,000.



TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: Total Small Business set-aside.
