2026-52 Architectural and Engineering Services - Security Vestibule Projects at Various Fairfield Public School Locations

Project Description: The Town of Fairfield (Town) on behalf of Fairfield Public Schools (FPS) is seeking proposals from qualified firms for professional design services for the construction of new security vestibules at five Fairfield Public Schools. The locations are as follows.
1. Burr Elementary School, 1960 Burr Street
2. McKinley Elementary School, 60 Thompson Street
3. Roger Sherman Elementary School, 250 Fern Street
4. Stratfield Elementary School, 1407 Melville Avenue
5. Early Childhood Center (located at Fairfield Warde High School), 755 Melville Avenue
The designer selection schedule is as follows but subject to change:

2. Pre-Proposal Site Visit: April 13, 2026, 10:00 a.m. (Monday)
3. Last date for Inquiries: April 15, 2026, by 1:00 p.m. (Wednesday)
4. Last Response Issued: April 17, 2026 (Friday)
5. Qualifications Due: April 23, 2026 (Thursday), no later than 2:00 p.m.
6. Short-list Architects: April 27, 2026 (Monday)
7. Issue RFP: April 28, 2026 (Tuesday)
8. Proposals Due: May 18, 2026 (Shortlist firms only, Monday)
9. Interview Designers: May 18, 2026 (Monday)
10. Designer Selection: Immediately after interviews
