Description: |
The Department of General Services (DGS) on behalf of Capitol Police Department (CPD) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) in order to procure the required Drone Tether and accessories for the Capitol Police Department (CPD).
Equipment must be to exact specifications. Equipment to be purchased includes, but not limited to: • Tether station must have standard power outlet plug (plug into 120v outlet) • Must not require proprietary software to be downloaded onto the drone for operation • Tether cord has a minimal length of 200 feet • Must be compatible with the DJI Matrice 30 series drone • Must include a motorized winch reel to remove slack from tether line while aircraft is in flight • Full tether length must be less than 1 kg (2.5 pounds) |
