Tactical Training - DRC270049 - APA

The Division of Parole and Community Service (DPCS), which serves as the community corrections division of the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) is seeking training to identify a trainer in safe weapons handling, close-quarters techniques, tactical rifle skills, and the use of specialized equipment (shields, rams, Halligan tools). The goal is to strengthen officer safety and effectiveness during field operations and high-risk arrests.
The project focuses on personnel routinely involved in arrest activities. Through structured, instructor-led training, staff will develop advanced communication skills, close-quarter competencies, and proficiency in safely handling and disarming weapons.
