RFP# 26-011 Syllabus Software

Project Description: Tarrant County College District currently uses three solutions for syllabus and course requirement management. The first solution is Instructor Class Requirements (ICRs). The ICR tool was developed by the College and enables faculty to publicly post course requirements, in alignment with Texas House Bill 2504 (HB 2504). Official course descriptions and student learning outcomes for each course are stored on District Master Syllabi (DMS), which are .pdf files. In addition, faculty members post syllabi within their courses in our Learning Management System, Canvas by Instructure.
The College is seeking a single solution that provides (a) students with critical class information that is consistent across the student information system registration tool and the LMS (b) faculty with a single tool wherein they can input and update class section information (c) academic leaders to ensure compliance with division, department, campus, College, state, and federal requirements and guidelines (d) the College with the ability to manage required content and (e) public access to syllabus and faculty CV information.
